Jack Fitzpatrick | Video Coordinator

 

Jack Fitzpatrick begins his fourth season as video coordinator for the UB men’s basketball team.  Last season he was part of a staff that helped guide the Bulls to an appearance in the MAC Championship game and just the second NIT appearance in school history.

In his role, Fitzpatrick oversees all video breakdown and film exchange, especially in relation to scouting & player development. He is also responsible for the recruiting database and the creation of recruiting materials, while assisting the coaching staff with day-to-day operations.

He played his college ball at Division 2 Emmanuel College in Georgia where he was a three year captain and the valedictorian at the school.  During his tenure with the Lions, he went 95-37 and helped guide EC to its first NCAA Tournament berth in school history.
Fitzpatrick’s father John Fitzpatrick was and assistant coach at the Division I level for over 30 years, highlighted by a stint at the U.S. Naval Academy where he coached David Robinson during their elite eight run.  He also made a number of other coaching stops including Houston, Virginia, George Washington, Ball State to name a few.
