Camp Objective: Campers will be instructed in every aspect of the game of basketball. Individualized instruction will be provided in a fun-filled environment. Each day of camp will include one-on-one teaching, instructional lectures and videos, skill enhancement drills and team play.

Registration: Camp registration is limited to assure the highest quality instruction for each camper. You may choose to register and pay online here, or fill out registration form, print and send check payable to UB Foundation Men’s Basketball Camp. You can send registration forms and checks to:

Camp Staff: Camp Director Jack Fitzpatrick will lead a staff of NCAA and high school coaches, as well as current and former NCAA players. All UB Camp Staff members will be actively involved to ensure that each and every camper receives the highest quality instruction.

Day Camp Hours: The gym will open each day at 8:15 AM. Camp will begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 4:00 PM. Campers must be picked up 15 minutes after the camp (4:15pm).

Meals: Campers MUST bring their own lunch. (Concessions stand will be open, Selling drinks & snacks only)

Athletic Trainer: A UB athletic trainer will be on site at all times. The UB training room facilities will be available for use by all campers.

Parking: Parents should park at the ‘Slee Parking Lots’ off Coventry road.

Insurance: Each participant should have medical insurance. Any medical bills incurred will be billed to the participant’s insurance company. Any medical expenses not covered by your insurance are the responsibility of the participant’s parents or guardians.

Location: The UB Boys Basketball Camp will be held in Alumni Arena and/or Edward L. Wright Practice Facility on the University at Buffalo Amherst campus, the premier on-campus collegiate athletic facility in Western New York. Alumni Arena is located next to the football stadium near the Coventry Road entrance off Millersport Highway.

Refund Policy: In cases of injury or illness, a refund will be based upon a percent of the daily loss, less a $25 non-refundable fee. Any camper who is dismissed from camp for disciplinary reasons will not be granted a refund. Cancellations within one week of camp will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.

NCAA rules prohibit representative of UB’s athletics interests (a booster) who is not naturally or legally responsible for a prospective student-athlete (grades 9-12) from providing any expenses to attend a camp or clinic. Violations of this could result in loss of NCAA eligibility for the prospective student-athlete.
